Flying Sites and Lambing

Skysurfers sent us this reminder concerning their sites, in particular Whitewool and Mercury.  It is of course true for our hills as well at this time of year.

Folks, just a general reminder.

Very soon the ewes and their offspring will be appearing in many of the fields we use for launch and landing. During the coming weeks, please be mindful of livestock. For local sites, the Daily Check is especially important to verify where we can take-off and land. If you are flying from neighbouring sites, ensure you are fully briefed before you fly.

Finally, make sure gates are kept closed.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sites Officer, Sky Surfing Club
